3/17/2018 Dave and Buster's Philly Cheese Burger

I went to Dave and Buster's for the first time. They have 3 select burgers beyond a normal Burger. Kristina got a Buffalo Wings Burger (see her review) and I got the Philly Cheese Burger.

The toppings we're onions, peppers, mushrooms, and white American cheese. I am not a big fan of the onions and peppers, so I refrained from putting too many on the burger. The toppings are aplenty and the cheese is front and center. They all blend together well.

The burger has a good Philly seasoning and was really juicy. It does come off a little too salty, but that is far away from bringing this burger down.

The bun was not distracting, but it was tasty. It is what you want in a bun.

3/17/2018 Dave and Buster's Buffalo Wing Burger

This weekend we went to Toledo for my niece's 11th birthday party at Dave and Busters. I was so excited to try a new restaurant but I also love arcades! I was so impressed by the menu selection. There were so many choices.

Tonight, I tried the Buffalo Wing Burger. My two favorite foods in one. I ordered my burger medium, and it came out perfect. The burger had a lovely sear on the outside and was nicely seasoned. I love biting into a juicy burger; if it gets on your face or hands, even better.

The burger was topped with breaded boneless buffalo wings. They had just enough heat to complement the burger, but not to be overwhelming. There were onion straws on the burger as well. I liked how many onion straws they give you. Most restaurants struggle and give way too many or no where near enough. Bleu cheese on a burger can make or break a burger. Dave and Busters again nailed a nice middle strength of cheese. The burger also has celery on it, but I opted to not be too adventurous today.

The bun was a brioche bun. It was lightly toasted and warm. It may also have been brushed with butter. It is a nice sweet bun to complement all of the toppings.
This is a burger I will be returning to eat again.

3/14/18 Crossroads Cafe's Chili Cheeseburger

Tonight we ordered Crossroads Cafe's burgers. It is a little restaurant in North Baltimore that will deliver cheeseburgers to your house. This could get dangerous; having someone deliver a hot burger to your door. It seemed like a good burgers and pajamas kind of night.
I was surprised by the burger. It read on the menu as a sandwich. It is a burger you cannot eat without a fork. They made a 1/2 pound cheeseburger the smothered it bun and all in chili cheese and onions.

The burger meat was not well flavored. I am not sure if it was even seasoned with salt and pepper. The bun was somewhere under all of the chili and the cheese on the burger was also lost by the amount of chili. The onions were good, but they were in such large pieces that it was difficult to eat them. The chili has a nice flavor, but I would have preferred a little more spice. I would have liked to see mustard on this sandwich for a favor to break up the chili.
Overall I would have this burger again, but I would definitely tweak a few things if I were making this in my own kitchen.
